Nigger shoots 12 year old boy during road rage chimpout

Update: Jurors deliberating the aggravated assault case of 26-year-old
Dwyndell Chase Perrault have gone home for the night.

They will return Thursday at 8:30 a.m.

Perrault is accused of firing a gun at a Nissan Sentra in a road rage
incident on Aug. 10, 2010 and striking then 12-year-old Ivan Perez in
the forehead.

Testimony in the aggravated assault trial of 26-year-old Dwyndell Chase
Perrault continued Wednesday, with jurors hearing from an emergency room
doctor and from a man who was riding in the car that Perrault allegedly
shot.

Perrault is accused of firing a gun at a Nissan Sentra in a road rage
incident on Aug. 10, 2010 and striking then 12-year-old Ivan Perez in
the forehead.

Gustavo Diaz, who testified in Spanish through a translator, said he was
in the passenger seat in the Nissan when it pulled up behind a car
stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Avenue D and Corley. The
driver of the Nissan waited about two minutes, then honked the horn, he
said.

When the Nissan drove around the right side of the stopped car, Diaz
said the other driver got out of his car and asked "What is the
problem?" Two other passengers in the Nissan told the man there was no
problem, Diaz testified.

Diaz said he noticed the man - who was Black and wearing a white shirt -
was holding a gun.

When the Nissan passed through the intersection and continued south on
Avenue D, Diaz said he heard a gunshot. In total, he said he heard about
four shots.

The driver proceeded to the hospital when they realized Perez had been
shot, he said.

Diaz said when he spoke with Beaumont Police detectives after the
incident, he could not identify the other driver in a photo lineup.

The emergency room doctor testified the bullet passed 2½ inches through
Perez's skull and into his brain. Jurors saw a photo of Perez in the
hospital with a bloody face and bloody hole above his right eye.
