Union Rallies Ignite Across U.S.
Andy Manis / AP Photo Wisconsins epic battle over an anti-union bill
has quickly spread across the country. On Saturday, there were planned
rallies in all 50 states in support of Wisconsins protesters, who are
defying a state bill that would strip unions of their collective
bargaining rights. In Madison, the cradle of the contentious issue, at
least 70,000 citizens turned out to rage against the ideathe capitals
largest crowd yet. In Ohio, whose legislature has taken up a similar
proposal, a crowd of thousands gathered.

There wouldn't be a deficit problem if Walker hadn't given $140 million
in tax cuts to businesses last month.
