KANSAS CITY, MO —
Tensions ran high inside a Kansas City courtroom on Thursday as a
sentencing hearing for a convicted murderer was interrupted by a brawl
between two women.

The judge was deciding a sentence on convicted murderer Michael Gunn
when two women began exchanging words then started punching and
kicking each other before they were separated by sheriff's deputies.

Guards removed the women from the court and the judge threatened to
throw anyone else out and have them arrested if they made a sound.

When the judge first convicted Michael Gunn, he said it was one of the most
senseless crimes he had ever seen in his 20 years on the bench.
Gunn is one of three men charged with killing two other men in April
2009. The victims, Andrew Eli, 23, and Justin Budreau, 24, were in
Eli's apartment at 59th and Tracy in Kansas City, Mo., when the
suspects came looking to rob the men of drugs and money. Eli and
Budreau were each shot in the back of the head.

According to court testimony gunn and eria doss burst into Eli's
apartment on 59th and Tracy to rob the place but when they left, Eli
and Budreau were shot in the back of the head. Gunn was given 50 years
and Larry Marshall who investigators say left the property before the
robbery and shooting began but helped Doss and Gunn escape, took a
plea and received 16 years in prison.

"We know it will never bring our son back," said Diane Eli Caldwell,
Andrew Eli's mother. "There is just not an amount of years that they
could have given to ever make us feel really good about it."

Eria Doss, the third defendant in the case, will be retried in January
after the judge declared his May trial a mistrial after jurors could
not reach a verdict.


It's not surprising that they said they couldn't understand why the two sows were
fighting. Since when can any reasonable human figure out TNB?
