Waffle-tossing..........

What's the scoop ?

I saw the green guys tossin' em around at a leaf in the penalty box
when Toronto was here in Vancouver.

When did it start and what does it mean ?

I was at that game in Vancouver.
After the empty net goal, 3 Leafs fans threw their jerseys on the ice.
That has way more meaning than some stupid waffling!

Heh, I didn't see that.

But it's clear what tossin' the jerseys was saying.

I still don't understand what the waffles are supposed to be saying.
