Good article. The one about 10 things Christians and atheists can
agree upon is good, too.

None of that was new to me. The don't quote one verse of comparative
scripture, but rather spend a fair amount of time bashing Christians as
if it actually proved some point.

It didn't spend any time bashing Christians at all, in fact.

"Bashing Christians" would be an excellent name for a rock band though.

I read it. Re-read the part about the Crusades. It was pointedly
painted as a Christian V. Muslim comparison, when I would argue that
anyone who attempts to conquer land in the name of Christianity isn't
Christian at all. They're very much playing on the mind of the
un-educated and weak-minded. Not that I expected much more from them,
I just loath misinformation being passed off as fact.

Which doesn't change the fact that the Crusades were called for by
the Pope and answered by Christians in order to free the Holy Land
from Muslims. Just because you don't consider them Christian, doesn't
change anything.

Apparently his answer is to exclude everyone who historically did bad
things in the name of Christianity from his definition of
"Christian". Which is OK I guess as long as he give the same leeway
in this discussion to Muslims.

Although an interesting read, it was incredibly slanted, although I
suppose it was in order to make a point.

I didn't believe any of those 5 ridiculous things going into it, but
they certainly overstated and misrepresented a few things in the
process.

I didn't see anything against Christians in there, maybe I didn't read
what Dan read.

1. Thanks for posting the islam site, it's spot on and correctly
ridicules a lot of stuff that's conventional wisdom.
2. That's quite the addictive website. Will be adding to the RSS feed.

Perhaps if the Muslims didn't deny entry into the holy lands, drastic
measures would not have been taken.
