WOW......nothing !!

Let me just say that these are bottom line prices unless it's a bulk
deal. I'll either part the games out or work on fixing some of them
up and getting them running...etc. Of course the price goes up in a
hurry if thats the case. I hate to part any game out but I have
standing offers for various parts and stuff from some of the games
should it come to that. I'd much rather sell the games and not part
anything out but I cant lose money on the games either. And thats
just the point that its at now. I hope you guys can understand and
help give these games a second chance before I have to start stripping
them down.

Sadly that's what's happening to 3rd tier machines' (and even 2nd tier)
re: their pricing/value. Unless someone actually wants the title, it's
just not selling even at fire sale pricing.

Even getting some of them working isn't going to garner much more $$$.
I already have 2 stars' and I'd have been interested in the SS pinball,
but geographically not gonna work for me. If you were within 2 hours of
eastern PA.....

Stars is a great game but unless the world flip-turns upside-down, it's
not worth a lot. The hoi polloi haven't latched onto how great some of
these early stern games are - most of those people are Bally guys.
(which are also great games!!)

Scott, without submarining John's offer too badly, you are completely wrong
about Stars, IMO.

I think it's great myself but I can see why others don't like it as
much. It's no Meteor but it's no party zone either ;)

I don't much care for the dink-dink-dink chimes compared to a gottlieb
chime box.

+1 for this post! I agree completely with you, Scott. Not that you
need my backing. ;-) Stars is quite the challenging and fun game.
And I've found the ruleset to be pretty deep for a -100 Stern.

No, you swoon over classic Ballys. To me that's even more sick. :-P
I would take a Stars (to play, not to sell) over most any Bally from
the same time period.
