Judge got rid of Liverpool owners...but are the new owners any better ?

Mr Justice Floyd's ruling effectively means the end of Hicks and
Gillett as the owners of Liverpool. Liverpool fans are over the moon
to see them go....in disgrace.
The fans hope the new owners would pour hundreds of millions, (like
the owners of Chelsea and Man City) to buy the best players in the
world ...who could help Liverpool win medals.

Are the new owners any better ? ...assuming Liverpool Chairman
Broughton sell the club to another Yanks ...John W Henry and
associates.

The short answer is NO.

Boughton says...Henry is the right man as he had made the Red Sox a
winner of the World Series in 2004 and 2007. The truth is Henry bought
and sold many sports clubs ...and all of them, except the Red Sox..
did not do very well.
Will Henry be able to make Liverpool into another world champion ?

The short answers is ...VERY UNLIKELY.

The reason is...Henry is a leverage speculator...the same as Hicks...
He buy and sell assets (like Liverpool). He has very little cash in
hand...In fact he owes banks huge sum of money...using his asset as
collaterals. He doesn't have the spare cash needed for the purchase
of the best players in the world... to build the new stadium...or for
the improvement of the clubs.

During the good year, he makes money...but he will use the profit to
buy more assets...and when business is bad...he will let the banks
take over his assets.
Liverpool to Henry is just a asset for his leverage business...nothing
more, nothing less.

The future of Liverpool under the new owners....is not very bright.

Hicks is not giving up easily....he got a US court to block
Liverpool's
sale.
It is now....US court vs UK court!
