Typical Monkey Behavior: HeBoon trapped monkeying around with matches and setting buildings on fire
HURRICANE, Utah (AP) -- Washington County prosecutors have charged a
29-year-old Hurricane man
with multiple felonies related to a string of alleged arsons.
Kyle Harper Papers filed Wednesday in 5th District Court charge Kyle Bryden
Harper with
first-degree felony aggravated arson, third-degree felony arson and
misdemeanor intoxication.
Hurricane police Sgt. Stacy Gubler says Harper was arrested and booked into
jail Wednesday. He
says the charges follow a task force investigation into numerous suspicious
fires reported over
the past 18 months in Hurricane and St. George.
The most recent fires include an Aug. 9 torching of a $15,000 fifth-wheel
travel trailer and a
Tuesday fire in a shed.
Jail records show Harper is also being held on suspicion of at least four
arson fires in St.
George.
