Typical Monkey Behavior: SheBoon Sow trapped after shoplifting then fleeing

MANCHESTER, N.H. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston) - A New Hampshire woman was taken
into custody after
police say she shoplifted and then took off.

Manchester police officers Paul Fraitzl, Mark Harrington, and Chris
Cunningham were working paid
construction details Tuesday moring when they responded to a request for
help from a Rite Aid
employee at the corner of Elm and Penacook streets. According to the Rite
Aid associate, a female
had come into the store, loaded a number of items into her baby carriage,
and then left the store
without paying for them.

Police say the employee attempted to stop the woman, but continued through
the parking lot toward
an awaiting vehicle and began loading the items into the trunk. The detail
officers immediately
ran to the area and were able to stop the woman before she could get away.

The female suspect was identified as 22-year-old Katielee Alonso, of
Manchester, N.H., and
following an investigation, Alonso was found to be in possession of over
$100 in stolen
merchandise.

Alonso was arrested and the scene and charged with Theft by Unauthorized
Taking.
