Denmark's [governing] right-wing parties think that freedom of speech is
under hard press during the swedish election campaign.

The nationalist Sverigedemokraterne party [

censorship in the swedish election campaign, according to Venstre [V], De
Konservative [K] and Dansk Folkeparti [O].

These three parties assess therefore that the Council of Europe should send
election observers to Denmark's neighbouring country.

Venstre's foreign-political speaker Michael Aastrup Jensen, who also leads
the danish delegation to the Council of Europe, intends to address the issue
during the council's next meeting in october.

'It would be suitable to send observers to the swedish election. I intend to
start a discussion with the Council of Europe's member countries, if we
ought to place Sweden under one or other form of supervision, so that we can
assure future democracy there', says he.

VKO sees several democratic problems in the swedish election campaign.

Recently, the TV4 tv station TV4 has refused to broadcast a controversial
Sverigedemokraterna ad. [*)]

VKO criticise also the swedish voting procedure, where voters under
everybody's eyes have to choose the ballots of which parties they wish to
take with them inside the voting box.

My opinion: Sweden doesn't have much vorsprung on Germany. Also there, we
will soon see swedish conditions.
